The problem of pseudoreplication in neuroscientific studies

I came across this paper, The problem of pseudoreplication in neuroscientific studies. In the introduction, the author listed a couple of common mistakes in analyzing from the field of neuroscience (which also apply to other experimental sciences). Although this paper targets mistakes made at the data analysis stage, many of the issues should be thought about at the stage of experimental design. These ideas might not be new to you, but I am sure it will serve as a fine refresher.
